Finca La Puma Preserve

About an hours drive from the estate is the oldest wild cat rescue center in Costa Rica. Founded in the 1980’s it has now evolved into a complete animal rescue center. They are a rescue center not a zoo, the animals are kept in large natural enclosures until they can be returned to the jungle. Some of the cats and other animals cannot be released due to a variety of factors and will live out their lives in comfort and safety at the center. We recommend that this tour with a combination of other tours. The Jungle Waterfall, a river float trip down the Corobici River or a stop at the Miravalles Volcano.
